As a Power Platform Developer, you will be responsible for developing, deploying and maintaining a range of Power Platform applications that use Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, Power Virtual Agents, SharePoint, Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio, SQL, and Azure AD, ensuring their functionality and usability for our clients. You will report directly to the IT Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain Power Platform applications using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Power Virtual Agents, SharePoint, Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio, SQL, and Azure AD
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data analysts, and developers, to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical design specifications
- Test and deploy Power Platform applications, adhering to best practices and security standards
- Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles to ensure seamless handover to support teams
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers on the team
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to Power Platform development
- Enhance existing applications by analyzing performance, making recommendations for improvement and modifications, and performing maintenance and bug fixing
- Develop custom connectors, triggers, and actions using Power Automate to integrate with external systems and services
- Perform Power BI dashboard development and administration, create advanced DAX measures, and perform SQL queries to extract data from multiple sources
- Develop and integrate chatbots using Power Virtual Agents for automating tasks and support services.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in developing applications using Power Platform, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Power Virtual Agents, SharePoint and technologies such as Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio, SQL, and Azure AD
- Experience in designing and implementing custom solutions using Power Platform and Azure services, including Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure Service Bus
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Common Data Service
- Extensive experience in developing and integrating chatbots with external systems using Power Virtual Agents
- Experience with SharePoint development and administration, including building custom web parts, event receivers, and workflows
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience in writing complex queries to extract data from multiple sources
- Knowledge of data modeling and data integration concepts, along with experience in building data pipelines using Power Query
- Experience in deploying and managing Power BI solutions and developing DAX measures and Power BI reports
- Good communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
